We are playing a show
If you’re:
a) reading this, b) live somewhere near Manhattan, c) are in town, d) enjoy live free music and e) want to have some fun this evening (Monday, Sept 1, 2008)
Then:
Swing by Rockwood Music Hall tonight for a free show and the debut performance of the new band, The Flying Change. My sense is that it will be a good show. We’ll be doing a bunch of tunes off the new album we’re finishing up, one song from the first Lipstik album somewhat re-imagined, and a cover of a resonant and relevant song by a songwriter and producer I really admire.
Here’s the setlist if you’re interested:
- don’t look away
- the ways that we destroy ourselves / colorado drugs
- the northern bay
- broken bow
- one more time
- mayo clinic
- hold my heartache (w/ amber)
- if you see something (w/ amber)
- dirty white coats (w/ amber)
- all my friends (w/ amber)
- st. marie*
* time permitting
Hope to see you there.
