The Flying Change

We are playing a show

If you’re:

a) reading this, b) live somewhere near Manhattan, c) are in town, d) enjoy live free music and e) want to have some fun this evening (Monday, Sept 1, 2008)

Then:

Swing by Rockwood Music Hall tonight for a free show and the debut performance of the new band, The Flying Change.  My sense is that it will be a good show.  We’ll be doing a bunch of tunes off the new album we’re finishing up, one song from the first Lipstik album somewhat re-imagined, and a cover of a resonant and relevant song by a songwriter and producer I really admire.

Here’s the setlist if you’re interested:

  1. don’t look away
  2. the ways that we destroy ourselves / colorado drugs
  3. the northern bay
  4. broken bow
  5. one more time
  6. mayo clinic
  7. hold my heartache (w/ amber)
  8. if you see something (w/ amber)
  9. dirty white coats (w/ amber)
  10. all my friends (w/ amber)
  11. st. marie*

* time permitting

Hope to see you there.
